  5. SNNS  is (Copyright) 1990-94  University of Stuttgart,  Institute  for
  6. Parallel   and   Distributed   High   Performance   Systems    (IPVR),
  7. Breitwiesenstr. 20-22, D-70565 Stuttgart, Fed.  Rep.  of Germany.

  9. SNNS is distributed by the University of Stuttgart  as `Free Software' 
  10. in a licensing agreement similar in some  aspects  to  the GNU General
  11. Public License.  There are a number of important differences, however,
  12. regarding  modifications and distribution of  SNNS to  third  parties.
  13. Note also that SNNS is not part of the  GNU software nor is any of its
  14. authors connected with the Free  Software  Foundation. We  only  share
  15. some common beliefs about  software distribution.  Note  further  that
  16. SNNS is NOT PUBLIC DOMAIN.

  18. The SNNS License is designed to make sure that you have the freedom to
  19. give away verbatim copies of SNNS, that you receive source code or can
  20. get it if  you want  it and that you  can change the software for your

  50. program or work, and a ``work based on SNNS'' means either SNNS or any
  51. work containing SNNS  or a  portion  of it,  either  verbatim or  with
  52. modifications.  Each licensee is addressed as ``you''.
